How Peer Pressure Can Lead to a Crime

Have you ever watched some movies like Mean Girls where the girls would manipulate everybody and everyone wanted to be like them. The movie protagonist ended up becoming one of them is an example of peer pressure. Now, you might not think about it but peer pressure can also lead to any type of crime one day.
Crime! Say what? Yes, you never know you or your little sibling or your child is up-to.
Usually in peer pressure, peer influence takes a big part to destroy one's thinking process. This is the first step towards crime.
Lets discuss one by one the factors that might one day lead to crime-

• Bad Role Model

Consider the part that maybe your child doesn't follow a good role model. It is not necessary that role model should be a movie star, sportsperson or a famous personality. It can be a person living in your neighborhood whom might your child admire and want to become like one. Now, that bad role model has bullied many people, has been to prison for theft ,etc. This is not a good sign.

• Environment

See the environment in which your child plays or spent their time in. Do they have good friends, do these friends doesn't follow any bad habit? Follow up and see all these things. You never know what those peers are influencing your child for. It can be stealing something from market for fun, blackmailing someone as a prank,etc. that can lead to serious consequences one day.

• The Pressure of Jealousy

Sometimes your child's friend circle taunt him or bully him for something he/she doesn't have. This led to jealousy of one person whom the peer admires. Can you think that this jealousy can lead to harming that person one day? Like attempt to kill the person, push them in front of vehicle to cause them harm,etc.
If such kind of things are coming to your child's mind to and fro. Here is the time you must seriously help your ward to let come out of this trap. Help your child by teaching them positive things about life. Indulge them in yoga, meditation, good peers, etc.
