Why People Should Exercise

In the past, I have never been inclined to participate in sports. Honestly, I didn’t like it, but many persons whom I lived with kept telling me every day how good, it was. Since peer pressure was growing, I decided to go to the gym. It wasn’t until then that I could really understand people when they said exercise really helped a person get organized and keep yourself in a healthy physically and mentally. For starters, when you are a lazy person, it is difficult to take the first step, but it is all a matter of committing yourself to something that will provide you a lot of positive feedback. Once you start doing exercise and observing positive results, you actually enjoy it. It takes a lot of effort and strong will, but it's worth it. The principal thing to do is to participate in an activity you like. If you do you’ll start organizing your day in a way that enables you to do everything you have to, including exercising. According to the surveys, every day around 92 women are raped in India and in Delhi, it's 4. Of course, we know that Delhi is the rape capital of India. But does all this ever going to stop? Apart from rape, women are sexually assaulted, mentally assaulted or physically hurt. They are challenged at every path of life. It is not that they are helpless, a woman knows how to fight at...

Can the New Media revolution make the Print Media Extinct?

When Guttenberg invented the printing press around 1440, it changed the whole game of academics and source of information sharing. Over the past hundreds of years, print became the major source of media across the world. Later when electronic media such as television and radio came into existence, print media still was strong with a good readership. Literate people still preferred to read newspapers and magazines than to watch television or listen to the radio broadcast. Print media was the most trustworthy source of news. But later when the personal computers came into existence, little did we know that the upcoming internet will change the game. The World Wide Web now is not just web , it is a whole world of every possible information available. When the internet became a normal thing to access from our smartphones , websites started creating content which was more readable. Many people started reading materials from their handy phones. Slowly, major print publications ent...

Health concerns in Jammu & Kahmir since revocation of Article 370

When Article 370 and Article 35A were scrapped in Jammu & Kashmir, it changed everything. One of the major changes was the restriction imposed in the whole valley with no people from the outside state allowed to go inside without any provisions and many of the politicians were under house arrest. It has been 3 months since the new changes imposed and it majorly affected the locals of J&K. We saw a viral interview video of a doctor who shared the actual condition of health facilities in the area since the revocation. The central government has been trying to assure us that the conditions of J&K are normal now and all the restrictions have been imposed. According to DD News on October 04, 2019, the condition of J&K has improved. No violence has been reported and all the medical facilities have started without any problem faced by any individual. See the report here:
