Fake News: A 90-year-old man in Kashmir cannot bury his dead son

There is no new fact about fake videos circulating on the internet via different platforms.
One such video started circulating on the internet through twitter of a  90-year-old man claiming he isn't able to bury his son in Kashmir from two days.
The same video on Youtube claimed about a 90-year-old man bidding farewell to his son after Russian Airstrike.


So, one of the facts has to be untrue.
On Twitter, Saiyad Faizan Mustfa posted this video and tried to mislead the people.

To check whether the video was authenticated or not, we checked the video through various steps:

  1. Copy the URL of the video. 
  2. Go to In Vid website and install verification plugin. 
  3. Since the video was being circulated on the twitter platform, copied the URL of the video from the source account who claimed the video to be of a Kashmiri. 
  4. I searched it and got the information about the user of the account and got the thumbnail of the video. 
  5. Searched the video through the 'Google Reverse Image Index' and found out that the original video is from Syria from a city called ' Kafr Nabl'.  
  6. The dead man is from Syria who died in a bomb blast. His name was Konbor Albayosh. 
Upon searching the internet, there were many twitter accounts who posted the same video claiming it from Kashmir.
